Cheers X you're not looking back far enough in history. Every single stage of human history has a religious upstart, or prophet if you wish, preaching about one God. They just didn't start being called Christians until about 2000 years ago, that's all (since Jesus was a Jew). To put it in perspective, Abraham is thought to have lived in Ancient Sumerian times (which was thriving long before Egypt became the cool place to hang out), as early as 5300 BC. You critics, how many books have you read in your life time, yet, you will not read the Bible to see whether the things a Christian believe are so. I respect your belief I feel no fear of heaven and hell As I believe in a pure form of accepting all that is and all around me . Not all people in this world are fortunate to have the media at their disposal like in the remote wilderness, But these people believe in nature and are respecting all around them for their survival. The Tao is peaceful and does not judge or impose We could all learn so much from it. Christianity was how I was brought up I clipped this for curiosity to how people still view christianity. I left it because people like you wish to preach and assu... The bible to many is a fulfillment, but I believe the real answer to our existence is beyond our comprehention!! The dreams of humanity that birthed and through many forms of religion are but a step on the bridge to true spirituality Supernatural I believe is fundemental to all of which we really have no ultimate answer. The Bible does give much knowledge and insight and beautiful wisdom as do other spiritual timeless forms of wisdom too!! But the one thing which differs is the other forms of wisdom do not express the element of fear of hell, It does not beleive Satan as the root of evil!! Satan is not what evil is!! it is the bible's interpretation. Spirituality excepts who you are and... |
