masbury says:
it's still a key step since fundamentally this election is about hiring Obama, and overcoming the residual doubts (about his newness, youth, funny name, whatever) that are allowing John McCain even to stay in contention.

When the whole thing is scripted, its absolutely amazing that the script didn't contain a single gaffe... sarc off...

You'll recall that McCain's trip was loaded with gaffes - including needing Lieberman's correction about Al Qaeda in Iran. And,

I'll grant you that about McCain. But Obama can't string two words together without one. When it gets to debate time, the townhall format will show who has been studying the issues and who hasn't. I'll put my money on McCain.

Wrong clip to post on Yon... that was on the other clip, but I will respond anyway.

How do you know the Iraqis only want to be left alone... did you also go to the Iraqi websites I have directed you to? They don't advocate that position. The positions in Iraq are as diverse as the positions in the United States about our own government. The levels of violence are not the same as 2006. The electricity is better than at any point since the hostilities started and the infrastructure is steadily improving. The electricity in Baghdad is less, but then Saddam only provided electricity to Baghdad for 20 hours a day and it is now closer to 12-15, but that is because it is being redistribute...
