MyStuff says: They're Bluffing.... If online poker players are felons, wouldn't that make like 64% of all people over 17 in the U.S. felons??? Did'nt know it was that high of players at that age. I've been betting sports for 10 years online now, and never had a problem. I used to live in Las Vegas for 12 years. I use sportsbook.com, which is publicly traded on the London Stock exchange... and never had a problem with them (payouts etc) Stopping online gambling will never be stopped.. too many loop holes for them, not to mention billions of dollars. The only thing I ever got nabbed at was ordering my smokes from Kentucy.. not for being here in Indiana though where I live... but I went to Utah to screw around last year for 4 months, so I had my cigarettes delivered to me there... end of the year, I get a tax bill from Utah for ove... Eric: If online poker players are felons, wouldn't that make like 64% of all people over 17 in the U.S. felons???LOL, 'aint that right! I remember meeting foreign gaming firms at tradeshows (back when online gaming just started taking off) and hearing them just rhapsodizing about the wealth they were generating from the American market due to the draconian legislations there. Even the UK got smart and reined in the massive revenue by legitimizing it. Yet the US/Canada are still tripping negatively on it, although quite a number of infrastructure providers (software platforms, security, etc) in Canada since technically, they're not running gambling sites, just enabling them. |
