invictus
Anatolia or Asia Minor is one thing, Turkey and being "Turkish" is another. 2000 years ago there wasn't any Turk in Asia Minor.

Second, Santa myth is clearly borrowed from much older pagan traditions and rituals including Nordic, Celtic and Persian cultures. Winter solstice (present "Christmas") was Mithra's birthday (or "Sol Invictus' birthday - where my nick comes from )

So there had never been a "human being" called Santa and it doesn't make any sense to discuss whether he was Turkish, Jew, Greek or Roman.
