I agree with the Democrats here. When the Soviet Union collapsed our approach to Cuba should have modernized. I think freedoms are more likely in Cuba if we engage Cuba the way we engage China. This is a great strategy for the Obama campaign. I would like to see Libertarians and Republicans have similar positions, even to the point of normalizing relations. Then again, this might all be because I want access to Cuban cigars. Oh well, there I go, only thinking of myself.
