ColoradoRight says: If you're not as successful as you'd like to be in life it's probably because you're not that smart, or you're not making good choices in your life. Maybe you spend too much money downloading music off the internet or eat out at restaurants too often. Maybe you've been passed over for promotion because you've never opted to stay late at work and help out. So there's really no such thing as unconscious bias based on race or sex, and most of the people currently in the upper income class got there all by themselves without connections or inheritances? That's a relief. Most people in the upper income class did get there all by themselves. As the saying goes - you can look it up. And black rich people are smarter and work harder. So are brown, yellow, white, and green rich people. got there all by themselves without connections or inheritances? Not always, no. But they don't have YOUR money and they do nothing to stop YOU from elevating your own stature. People usually work to develop connections, and inheritances happen. People die. Successful people who have passed on the proper values will have successful people to leave their money to. Sour grapes hurts YOU. Life is all about the choices we makeBut who makes the choices as to how smart we will be, certainly not the people on the lower end of the mental capacity scale, many of who do work very hard for their living but through no fault of their own simply have to do the best they can. So NO it's not always.... Life is all about the choices we make |
