This is pretty similar to an indian dish. you guys who like lentils should try indian food. not the kinds in restaurants. your indian colleagues would know what i am talking about

Mmm, I'm going to try this one. You're right, biarced, it is very similar to a lot of dhal recipes, specially with the cumin and lemon. I'm a fan of all things lentil

Stir in tomato paste, cumin, salt, pepper, cayenne and chili powder until fragrant. Pour in broth, red lentils and carrots. Simmer until lentils and carrots are tender, about 20 minutes.
