Once again the Democrats wimp out, fail to stand up to Bush. The issue is not one to take lightly. So why do the Bush grovel again?

With Bush threatening to not put anyone in office the job would default to someone congress did not have approval over and who could be appointed by the White house. I suppose this is the final reason and perhaps a good reason but it is truly bothersome as well.
