Spain currently has the highest unemployment rate in ALL of Europe, and mounting social problems of which we are hearing very little about. Yet, you are there and seem to clip nothing but stuff about the USA.....bit strange that!???? If you knew anything at all about Spain, you would know the cause of our present situation and that a great deal of what has happened is due to policies taken by previous Governments too. Why I should clip in Spanish on an English speaking site and since when do I have to justify my clips to you Antara? As of now there is no draft. So what's the problem? However, in times of crisis I hope those very ones who are "rising up" don't also run to hide behind a soldier or complain when they are not protected. lolol, I never said you had to justify anything now, did I?? I made an observation......and since Spain is FULL of VERY BIG problems at the moment I just find it very interesting that we never seem to hear about any of them from you. Why on earth would you have to clip in Spanish only....there are English sites also. Ps: I am free to make observations--you are free to ignore them  Sorry Antara, but I have lived in Spain for far too long to read Spanish news in English. Plus the fact that most of the English sites in Spain have a tendency to see things from their point of view, while I see it more from a Spanish one, having lived here for so long and virtually cut myself off from the UK as I find it sooo controlling and not that healthy politically either. A lot of Spain's big problems are due to multi-national companies and companies that just want to kick out workers and run with the profits and let the poor fend for themselves. I am not very fond of Tories or Partido Popular here in Spain, as you will have gathered and I also prefer to keep my mind open regarding... Who says there isn't a draft? Poor American kids are being presented with the very real impression that there is nothing for them but the Military, or Poverty. That's as good as a draft, so long as no one is showing them that there are options other than learning the "fine" art of murdering their fellow man. That's dumb. That's not dumb if you are not pro-war, something which brings peace to ones country. One thing is an army to defend and another is an enormous army to stamp on other countries who don't fall in with your ideas. Pro war? Hardly. Perhaps naive would be a better word. Must be horrible to live in perpetual fear Jetfla, I really do feel so sorry for you  Wow, what a pithy rejoinder, Jatfla. I am cut to the quick! Wait, no I'm not. That response was naïve and pathetic. Read a book and open your eyes, Jatfla. You know not the world that you live in. |
