It’s a Merlot, Cabernet, Shiraz and Pinot Noir blend, and its aroma is all about ripe berries, with hints of vanilla and pepper.  The flavor is definitely fruity, with juicy cherry and raspberry notes leading into a moderately peppery finish.  We wouldn’t call the wine sweet, but it’s definitely not the dry, European red one might expect.
