Sorry I didn't see this and have just clipped same news, with some links. So. I read in the BBC article that research has shown that once the shelf is gone, then glaciers will head towards the ocean more rapidly, which causes a rise in sea levels. Rising sea levels affects our coastlines and people and wildlife who live there, our watersheds (where we get drinking water), natural disaster funding for floods etc. Airports are usually located at or near sea level and would be wiped out. Industries would be seriously affected such as shipping, ports, fishing, the list goes on. renerodz, that was a rhetorical "so", Eaglestrikes does not really care. I will move any city, Any CITY for $999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999.99 With your bare hands? With your bare hands?Don't be ridiculous, I'm sure he'll wear gloves. |
