Bush was then the state's governor, and Gonzales was his general counsel. If Bush had served, he probably would have had to disclose his own drunken-driving conviction in Maine two decades earlier.

Gonzales, what a joke. He is a liar of course. Bushco would not employ someone of brown skin unless they lied for him. Of course Bush just had to go the 'minority" well to find some cronies willing to do his bidding.
