Those are bizzare, but I have to wonder why is "Sammy's Mommy Has Cancer" on there. My 7 year old sons best friends mom died of cancer last year and I really wish i knew this book existed then.

The writer probably carries a general concept of what children's books are: texts that focus on what is happy, or something that is free of what concerns adults. I guess that's also why he/she included "And Tango Makes Three" a book about,
