Might make for a more interesting comment if you would explain?

I like the walking labyrinth as a meditation tool.

For a start a lot of the information given is misleading and disingenuous.

There is absolutely no evidence to back or support these claims of labyrinth stones.

The reality is these symbols were probably used as markers for sun worship and the symbols represented the suns rays spiralling through the passage ways.

Let me give you an example of this, in Knowth the main stone at the passage way was believed to encompass this.

You should read;
THE SACRED ISLE
Belief and Religion in Pre-Christian Ireland
by Daithi O Hogain.

I have no problem with people finding solace in their beliefs. But those who mislead and peddle lies for their own profit should be ashamed.

In short I believe they are full of shit.

The following is meant as no offense whatsoever. but I never imagined this topic could arouse such controversy I think patterns of all kinds are interesting, and one aspect of that interest is they suggest order but at the same time, as in labyrinths and in mazes, they also challenge us into finding an outing (or entry).

Again I mean no offence but do not give these guys any money.
If you believe in the labyrinth motifs, more power to you.
Just be clear that some of these guys seem to misinterpret for their own devices.

Pre-Christian Ireland, from the first settlers to the Early Celts, Peter Harbison.

Early Ireland: An Introduction to Irish Prehistory, Michael J O' Kelly - the man who excavated Newgrange. Check out pages 111 to 115.

Pagan Celtic Ireland: The Enigma of the Irish Iron Age, Barry Raferty.

These are all archaeological books and deal mostly with established facts.

I have all these books on my shelves and I would recommend you browse through them slowly, if you could get a loan of them.

Borges a over inflated pompous ass hole, whose works are so boring they are not worth using as toilet paper.

For the self important so called clever readers, who claim to grasp the inner meaning of his work.

Get a life.
