This character is much like a 1940s version of the Incredible Hulk, in that it is a normal man who grows to become a muscular animalistic beast, similar to the classic version of the Hulk. Of course, this character is based upon the same character the Hulk was based on: Mr. Hyde, from "The Strange Case of Jekyll and Hyde."
