Very touching story. To err is human, forgiving is divine. I think Theresa's pain is too big to bear for adding also the rage, but practice forgiveness it's very difficult in fact: maybe she really had a Superior illumination.

Why are all these people recently killing their children and taking their own lives. It is truly bizzare.

I've read that some people who kill their own children like this, find the world to be such a terrible place, that they don't want to be in it anymore (suicide) and love their children so much, that they don't want to leave them behind in the *cruel* world (murder). It's a terrible act of desperation, not malice. Not always anyway. Forgiving is very understandable if those were the circumstances.

Mental illness is also a cause of course and so it's hard for me to blame the perp for something they may not have been able to control, if that were the case. It's a sad, sad, thing though. Very sad indeed.
