Antara says: I have never understood why starbucks gets away with charging so much for their coffee!! I always thought Starbucks was overpriced and overrated. Sometimes I use to wonder why people seem to enjoy parading around with their Starbucks coffee cup. Like look at what I got. Seemed superficial to me. Anyone else notice that? you mean a $5 cup of coffee is a luxury in a down economy? But where will I be able to be seen with my new Macbook Air? I have never really cared much for Starbucks coffee but I always liked the way I was treated by the staff. Even the customers seem nice when inside. It feels like a little home town coffee shop when I enter. Maybe it is just mine, but that is what keeps me coming back. Granted, it is a rare treat (once a month or so) or, at one time, where a group of my friends & I met for Bible study. My ex boyfriend was addicted to starbucks, seriously, like 3 a day. Guess I am a bit biased, lol....I am Canadian and i love my Tim Hortons I should add that I only get it as a treat now when a friend comes over , or I visit ---- as the "Tim Horton's" they sell here in Dublin is FAKE. I think the attraction or popularity of Starbucks is the "yuppie ambiance", as I've noticed quite a few "Beamers" and other upscale type rides in their parking lot. I like Starbucks once in a while as a treat. Especially at Christmas, I love the gingerbread coffee. I don't know all the fancy lingo but it is fun to go into a place like that once in a while and have someone make you a coffee exactly the way you want. Treatment like that does make a person feel special in someway. 8 o'clock is what I drink. I used to drink Maxwell House for my everyday coffee consumption, but then I heard someone recommend exactly what this clip points out and it is absolutely true. I drink other finer brands for my discriminating coffee pleasure, but Eight o'lclock is hands down the best of the general brands. And, truly, Starbucks sucks! I've come to realize that McDonalds is actually better than Starbucks and I am a long time raving fan of Starbucks. I just haven't been able to get a good cup of coffee there in I don't know how long. Here is the best coffee I've ever had. Actually met the guy whose face is on the package. He is very excited about his coffee. I love it. I've never heard of this 8 O'Clock brand. I shall have to keep an eye out for it, |
