To anyone not familar with Migram experiment, it is a must read.

There's a great book that explores in part the Milgrim experiment, titled 'Modernity and the Holocaust' by Zygmunt Bauman, which is a scathing look at modern society. I'd call that even moreso a "must read".

Anyone who has not seen the Milgram experiments ought to read the rest these great clips and comments, and GET YE TO THE SIMPLEST MOST POWERFUL DEFINITIVE human psychological experiment ever filmed. It shows: we are a race sadistic cowards. I am quite serious. I was never the same after I saw that study - thank you JOHN BILLARD (!) of Northern Valley Old Tappan High School for showing those to our class at 15 years old in 1980.
