I had a friend who'd just gotten her license to fly and she took me on a little jaunt in a Cessna (sp?). As we were coming in to land the wind picked up and we were sideways like that coming in. It got pretty hairy and she never blinked an eye. Landed it with nothing more than a small chirp of the tires.
