Read the whole entry. It tugs at my longing for community. I'm just starting to reach out to new neighbors as they move to my street. I have to make the life I want for myself, no matter where I am.

Great clip BNM! Community is important, and sometimes you never see it, sometimes you see it on holidays or during a tragic event....but even just a little bit of extra effort (like reaching out to new neighbors) makes a big difference in the long run.

I love that house!! However, for W.Va. that's a very light snow. Brrrrrrrr...

Community...what a lost concept. Most everyone is too busy to take the time to build it. When I think of "community" I recall all the children in our neighborhood playing together, all the mothers knew each other and each child, and dads working in their yards, on their cars or just talking together on Sat. mornings.

I would like to have you all for neighbors. That sounds nice. My daughter likes (me) to bake cookies and take them to the neighbors, so you would win too!
