There were reports Assad was prepared to offer a security pact that could tighten the Syrian border against foreign fighters who have crossed into Iraq since the summer of 2003.If foreign fighters were not a problem (or political issue) for Assad he wouldn't have to address the situation, but obviously he has to. As the article (and clip title) states, REGARDLESS of where these 'foreign' fighters are coming from they are entering Iraq VIA Syria. Cheese and crackers. The "officials" are the ones using the 13-year-old mentality to approach this situation. Give me a fereaking break here. |
