Yes, "evidence" again is "being fixed around the policy" to go to war (as it was with Iraq), per the neoconservative (Project for a New American Century ) blueprint for a "new middle east" written in Sept. 2000, based upon "a catalyzing event, like a new Pearl Harbor" (i.e. 9/11).

We will see how gullible, or complicit, Congress, the media, and the American public will be in taking this lying administration at its word again.

I have to admit that I'm more likely to believe that Iran is working to get nukes than I was to believe that Iraq was, but I still don't think we're anywhere near the point where attacking them is the best - let alone only - option. I certainly would want a lot more evidence than just George and Dick's words on it, though. As long as its just the neocons saying that Iran is a danger, I'm not going to be totally buying it. They've cried wolf FAR too many times to put *ANY* kind of credence into their words.

I guess this is the same bad situation that led to such myths as the Hydra, the many headed snake whose heads grew again as they were cut off. And other such myths that speak to the realities of evils that are hard to overcome or resist because of its pervasive or enduring quality and its many faces, many groups and organizations, many avenues of influence and multifarious and multifaceted aspects.
