of Obama’s support of a sex education bill when he was an Illinois state 
legislator. The Washington Post said McCain’s criticism of Obama’s support of 
the bill was “dishonest.”<BR><BR>The Post is wrong. McCain was honest. 
<BR><BR>An Obama spokesperson said the bill in question was written to “protect 
young children from sexual predators.” <BR><BR>Actually, the bill did quite a 
bit more. The legislation said, in part, “Each class or course in comprehensive 
education offered in any of grades K through 12 shall include instruction in the 
prevention of sexually transmitted infections, including the prevention, 
transmission and spread of HIV.”<BR><BR>Reasonable people should be able to 
agree that a child in Kindergarten does not need “instruction in the prevention 
of sexually transmitted infections.” As one who supported the bill, Obama
