We are all expected to balance our checkbooks and pay our debts. Why can't the government do the same?

What would happen if Americans revolted by refusing to pay taxes to the government whose spending is so out of control and started a new country with a new name, completely free of debt. Just declare bankruptcy and start over, with the determination to take care of the needs of all Americans without the fiscal irresponsibility we are suffering from today. More government for the benefit of the people, not less government for the benefit of the wealthy.

How about the name Lower Slobovia? Then we could claim to be poor Slobs from Lower Slobovia instead of pretending to be rich slobs from the USA.
