Sometimes after time men needs the circumcision...Doctors have different opinion for the same issue...So...I don't know what to believe...

I've never understood why the obstetrician did the circumcision anyway. why not a pediatric surgeon?

Pediatric surgeons generally work in specialty childrens' hospitals which don't have labor & delivery facilities. The OBs are of course available at the site where the babies are kept following delivery.

In some hospitals, only a surgeon is allowed to do a circ. Where I work now, the wet-behind-the-ears interns do all of them. See one, do one, teach one. I've seen some very ugly results! How sad.
