Rioting Drone says:

Mind you this took place a month after the Hurricane Katrina. The day after the hurricane passed 250 officers didn't show back up for work. There were even accusations of the police looting.

Stress is a mind blower. The cops may have done the right thing with the old man.

Rule one: When caught by the police, do not resist arrest or detainment.
Rule two: Don't get caught in the first place.
