Unlikely but interesting read. Perhaps if you get a Carteresque President with a 9/11-type scenario - you could speculate that a lot of people would want it, but I doubt the military will be the forerunner, more likely the Congress will do something after an intense pressure from the public.

I'm all for a coup as long as the military is on the side of the people. I believe that we should get back to following what made this country great:our constitution. Those bastards in office are trampling our very rights as Americans.

VTscapes, you're talking like you live in Venezuela somewhere... Come on! Go vote in the next election for someone you think will do a good job, if you can find someone that is. It's easy to sit at home and bitch... where have your rights been trampled exactly? Just the fact that you can even write such bologna indicates that your rights aren't that squeezed... The Military IS on the side of the people. You're dropping propaganda, nothing more.

And if you're so into making a drastic change - why don't you run for office and make a difference - nobody's stopping you.
