Steve makes a number of good points in this post. I find it hard to imagine that a platform that limits all communication to 140 characters can sustain the type of growth that twitter is currently enjoying. In some macro sense, that just wouldn't make sense. They have been brilliant in their simplicity, but after a while, i just don't see how people don't get board and frustrated by the limitation.
