I wish they'd clean up Sadr City and Basra and be done with it. They're cesspools for thugs, Al-Qaeda, Iranian infiltrators, and disgruntled Shiites.

I have an acquaintance who recently arrived back from Iraq and he said they traveled to many areas in Iraq with just their translators and felt completely safe and accepted. Too bad good news is not news-worthy.

It is also full of innocent people too and all those groups can't be operating in the same area, since for example al-Qaeda is primarily a Sunni group and those areas you mention are Shiite.

And you got to wonder, why would their be disgruntled Shiites, or what are they disgruntled about, and why should they be "cleaned out"?
