He's a great summariser (oops not a pun honest) I heard that his definition of life was "self-movement" - nothing else just that! Something so comprehensive and vast defined so simply. And its a good definition - a plant grows propelled by something within. A rock withers under external forces. A plant is alive and a rock isn't. Great!
