My brother was a wounded and decorated combat vet of Vietnam. Believe me! They would be angry if any policeman chose to prevent you from exercising your rights. There are other cops and soldiers out there of a “constitutional mettle.” We are Americans, with inalienable rights that can not be taken away. It says you have a right and an obligation to change your government if it tramples on your rights. It is stated in very strong and plain language. This is the heritage of this nation and was won with tears and blood…do not give them up…fight for them and protect them.

Given that there are several posts at Global Toad concerning Ron Paul, I don't think it is a far stretch to characterize it to be a conservative slanted blog. When the conservatives start expressing thoughts such as the commenter I've quoted about denial of a conservatives constitutional rights... it's an indication to me that we are really getting into treacherous waters.
