An amazing chance meeting.

Good to not see this on Craigslist missed connections: You were a sweet looking bacterium, doing something interesting with the light you were in and some water you had. I was a huge amoeba feeling not quite myself that day, or I would have engulfed you. Please let me know where to find you, so that I might make up for my lapse.

A friend of mine had a bag full of watch parts. He shook the bag for years and lo and behold a completed watch came out! The odds of life forming, as we know it, has much, much greater odds against it than that watch.

Given the right environment and the proper chemicals, life will form easily. Just give it a little time. Wether or not a bag of watch parts congeals togethor to form a functioning watch, well, that seems more unlikey then an omeoba forming in the proper solution.
