The same would apply to the slave traders who deal in children and women more so than men. Paedophiles too.

What's 'sad' about human nature? Terrorism is sad. Being attracted to a woman is built-in. Women who do not wish to be 'objects' can easily dress more appropriately and thus not be. It's not like someone learns in school how to look at a woman, or what kinds of feelings to have or not have. Besides, it's not like guys jump on every woman who looks like the one in the photo (but that part is learned...) Nothing sad about it, part of human nature, not unlike looking being in Sun Valley, Idaho for the first time during winter. One might say - so what, it's just mountains, snow and trees, but when you see it - all you can say is 'WOW!'. Human nature, plain and simple.

Having spent lots of time hanging out with groups of women, I can tell you from experience that they are just as objectifying of "half naked" attractive men as men are to half naked attractive women. After all isn't that the point? Men and women alike don't get all dressed up to sit around the house and watch TV do they? Nope, they do it to go out and attract a mate (be that hetero or homosexual). The plain and simple of it is that on some level both men and women who purposefully dress themselves up and flaunt them selves are looking for a reaction from others. And there is nothing at all wrong with that.

uh, these are objects; they are PICTURES.

they need to redo the test with real live women. (it sounds funny, but i'm serious. treating a photo like an object is correct; treating a person like an object is not)

When I said it was sad it was that the woman or man became an "object" . Why can't they look at them as a sexy man or woman? People are not objects.

I don't think it's anything more than an expression, tanyamm.
