Dissent is patriotic. These men remain heroes of friends of humanity and justice to this day.

I am very sad today. Yesterday an article in our local paper exposed an racist event that occurred on NPR radio. A local business man admitted that he would not be voting for Obama because he would never vote for a black president.

This stirred major controversy in our local online paper (it allows commenting) and the racist bigots came out of the woodwork and fully began to promote racial hatreds and bigoted stances. It became so terrible that the paper had to turn off commenting for that article. I am completely sickened that not only do people like that still live today, but that there are so many of them.
