I'm confused, YouTube = Google's now, shouldn't they be under Google's philosophies? (Was Google even involved here?) Or is YouTube autonomous?

It doesn't matter what company name or entity they use. Copyright infringement lawsuits are going to become big business now as media companies struggle to control digital media. Social networking sites (ones that allow users to post copyrighted information) are next in the battle.
