Contrast the Catholic church's statement with that of the newly elected Episcopal Bishop in Ohio, who says, "I have a fairly settled conviction that any two persons who struggle to live and grow together in fidelity on a lifetime basis have the opportunity to experience God's grace and to use that relationship for holiness." Now, he won't perform any gay weddings unless he church approves, but tell me this: How many Ted Haggard's would that approach create? |
