As far as I know, "The Left," probably has a range, a spectrum of opinions on many varied topics, like "The Right." I, myself, have views that some would consider "Left," and other views that some would consider "Right." As far as Sarah Palin what I hear commonly expressed is that she is a joke. She is not "feared." -- She's considered almost like a parody of witless right-wing views that make no sense, and self-contradictory and have no facts to back 'em up. She's mainly the focus of comedy skits and most people I know laugh at her. You are honest to say "what I hear commonly expressed...". There has been so much *said* about her, jokes made at her expense, her reputation sullied by a vindictive young man and political opponents that very few people know what she actually has said or politically supports. The Obama Administration has recently shown what is done to political opponents and news organizations who have differing views. The same is being done to Sarah Palin. I plan to read her book so that I will know what SHE thinks; not what others think she thinks. Good point. The excessive generalization in the headline of this clip is what led me to check it out. So many folks say: "The Left," thinks this or that...or "Americans," want this or that and they are wrong, and commonly don't know what they are talking about at all but say this to try to support their own opinions. Palin got in trouble, I thought, when she implied she knew something about Russia because she could see Russia from her state. When that showed up on YouTube and in comedy skits it didn't help her image. Her views about sex education also became a vivid contrast with having an unwed high school dropout daughter, The previous Republican administration and their ongoing acti... This is going to confuse a lot of people. @bignosemousie - really? That's a confusing comments. So, I see your point. Hahah, citizenbfk, I meant those two books coming out at the same time will confuse a lot of people. I believe that Palin's comment about seeing Russia was pure hyperbole.
