Who's to say that life does not arise from non-life today? We know that many strange forms of micro life live in the ground very deeply. There is even thought that life may have started there instead of scum pools. With so much life on earth today who would ever notice abiogenesis happening? Especially if it happens in areas that are very hostile and hard to reach (the bottom of the deepest ocean trenches by volcanic vents, deep deep underground)

The basic idea is science is to create a method that can be repeated, so results can be verified. It's funny that we can say it can't happen again, when we're not sure how it happened is the first place. We are searching for Extraterrestrial life, but Earth seems like the perfect place for 'Spontaneous Generation'. Perhaps we need more work on how we picture the concept. They still aren't sure how viruses fit in. If it happened once It can happen again. Now we have the knack heaven known what may be created. If the internet became conscious for example, or accessible with an organic interface, allowing us to literally put our minds on line - 7hz Careful with the voltage. We will create whatever we can
