Isn't it ironic that we all suffer today the consequences of how single celled organisms that lived a billion years ago choose to procreate?

Well I've given birth to two children. They are now adults. My job is done.

I happen to enjoy sex and have given birth to 3 children. My kids are grown and I see myself in them, but they are seperate human beings each different and special. I have also had a variaty of animals during my life and they all had thier own special personalities. You can't get that from cloning. Unless you want to sign your life over to the Dollhouse and let them program you!!

The problem with clones is that it contains the same DNA and traits of the cloned. Although defects may occur in offspring from sex, combination of traits emerge with every new offspring since they contain traits from both parents. This can allow for a future generation to be more "fit" than the previous, which you just can't get from clones. Although cloning is more efficient, a species wouldn't be able to "evolve" as rapidly as a sexually reproducing species since there is less chance of deformations in clones.
