BobbyRutan says:
In McCain's op-ed in the Journal, he and Palin wrote:

For years, Congress failed to act and it is deeply troubling that what we are seeing is an exercise in crisis management rather than sound planning, and at great cost to taxpayers.

We promise the American people that our administration will be different. We have long records of standing up to special interests…

But McCain's own campaign staffers are those special interests, a fact that casts doubt on both McCain's hiring judgment and his ability to pursue tough reforms of Fannie and Freddie.

The way the warmongering Republicans now lie about their records and their actions must truly be hitting new world records.

I will give McCain the benefit of the doubt. I'm voting for Obama, but if I end up being in the minority, then at least we can look forward to McCain finally doing something about this, better late than never! We can hold his feet to the fire on earmarks, PACs, special interest groups, and lobbyists, and if they fail to clean it up, well behold a Democratic president in 2012. We're all, repubs and dems, finally, fully aware of the corruption in the system, and sick of it.... so it WILL stop. Progress! Right repubs? I speak the truth-you are in this with us, the average citizen? Chime in and make the pledge! ENOUGH!

Don't hold your breath, deb2012. We can't hold BushCo to the fire for criminal enterprise and acts, so the campaign promises that McSame makes are about as good as the sand we'll be turned into after the war with Russia; that war Sarah seems so eager to ignite with her campaign bluster. Russia isn't a campaign promise, but the bear in the woods one better understand very well before poking with a stick.

Bear, you might be right, I did notice that not one conservative left a comment in support of my challenge.
