I wish more people would understand this difference between gender identity and sexual orientation. I've heard so many people think someone is gay because they don't "act" feminine or masculine. Sometimes, gender mis-identity does occur in gay people, but there are many more heterosexual people who also feel they were born as the wrong gender. Good clip.

Yes. Exactly. People do confuse the two...and sometimes even gay people confuse them. It's also possible that someone who is transgender is also gay (meaning their nonbiological, or transitioned gender is attracted to the same sex). Transgender people can be either gay or straight.
