The 2008 Dewey Donation book drive is up and running. I know there are many book lovers on Clipmarks. You can donate money or you can buy a book from the wishlist. You can choose the book you send to help a child.

When you let them know you donated, be sure to mention Clipmarks. We might get more than warm fuzzies in return; we might get valuable new Clippers for the community.

The Children's Institute has Amazon Wish Lists you can browse. They do not know they've been selected for the 2008 Book Drive. They will be surprised and thrilled as all the books start streaming in.

Trust me, in past years the letters of gratitude from the Librarians make you feel like a Rock Star. They have a passion to get the power of the written word into the hands of kids that could grow up and be the change you are waiting for in the world.
