The truth is that Wars threaten our freedoms (like the "war on terrorism") more than any other events.

Veterans Day and Memorial Days, even Thanksgiving (set by Lincoln as religious cover for the bloodiest war in U.S. history) are all for propaganda purposes to justify unjust wars, under pretense of "support our troops". That is why they are federal "holy days", that pay homage to the religion of Statism.

We therefore cannot be said to "owe" someone something that did not really fight to "defend our freedoms", but only an agenda to "make the world safe for [to impose] democracy", and other globalist imperial purposes.

When I say "left" or "right" I don't mean it along traditional party lines. I know what you say: there are right wingers in the Democrats as their are progressive people in the Republican Party.

What is really scary is the notion that the American President does not actually run the country. That would explain your remark that "both left and right (Presidents) do this".

Iraq is a shining example of this. Read my clip about the Iraqi war profiteers. Once this became politically too unpopular, they seamlessly switched to Afghanistan. Iran is probably soon to follow -- and Venezuela, another oil-rich country.

All these "adventures" are funded by tax money. The taxpayers never see any profits resulting from spending this "blood money" though - it goes straight into the coffers of Haliburton and others.

Do you really think people who stand to win or lose massive amounts of money would allow an idealist like Obama to spoil their war fun? Whether he ever was for real I don't know. Fact is he was very soon reigned in by his masters.

Looking at it this way, America has long since stopped to be a democracy.
