I love all libraries, big or small, I can't believe this is happening. I mean WTF!!!

A society, any society can afford that which it holds to be valuable.

IMO this societies values, to put it politely, are becoming ever more misplaced/warped.

What is more frustrating is that I have consistently seen these library closing news under Obama's watch than the GWB's. I don't know if there is any relation but libraries shouldn't close anywhere no matter what.

You have to remember that Obama has only been in office 7 months. We knew the economy was crashing down before he was in office. We knew major spending was going to be needed before he was in office. You can't blame the new manager for the costs of cleaning a building that the old manager abused.

I know that the right likes to jump on this and say "OH MY GOD. Look how much damage he's done in 7 months!" but the reality is "OH MY GOD imagine how much worse it would have been".
