The problems you point out, dr-gog... health-care, treatment of our veterans and so forth don't need a religious solution, but rather an empathetic human solution. You are correct, in my opinion, that we need a check-up from the neck-up, but it doesn't have to be related to any deity or dogma, just a warm heart of compassionate human caring overriding compulsive greed. While these comic comments are seemingly harsh, they are really just a pressure relief for the frustration of dealing with these intractable "leaders". While there has to be a certain gleam of truth to them for the humor to resonate, they are sentiments that these "leaders" have earned in their own actions. Karma is karma. So... |
