thisnamecantbetaken says: What we are saying is it appears that a safe, legal substance the mimics those important properties of marijuana can workWhat they are saying is, don't grow your own, or legalise pot, but buy their upcoming (probably expensive) cure so the pharmatocracy can keep getting rich. All the while, you'll be protected from this *harmful* weed, via the war on drugs. Win/win, eh? What they are saying is, don't grow your own, or legalise pot, but buyExactly. It is not legal unless they are making money out of it. It's illegal if nature is giving it to you for free. Just like GM crops. It's better if you pay for the seeds, not good if you get the seeds for free from nature. Well, I've been known to drink too much TN, but then again, I have this new positive influence in my life and now I am held down (by myself) to limiting the alcohol. Along with the bad language. OMG, I am changing for the better, who would have thunk it? Anyway, I don't get high but I know it helps some ppl with a lot of different issues, so who am I to judge? Hahahahahahahahahahahhaahaha, Oh TN, like I haven't thought about that suggestion a time or two! But I get out and go to the gym and actually meet real live people, and have FAB hair. OMG, that was so funny. I'm glad you removed the comments though. Never click on spam links, Debs!! You don't know what kind of self-installing malicious malware you could pick up. How did that bastard QuincyM get through anyway? I blocked them yesterday as soon as I saw they were spamming. Grrrr. There are so many things that would be improved, as opposed to damaged by legalizing marijuana. Just a few: New medicines for everything from alzheimer's to cancer treatment; a stronger more durable fiber that can be used for everything from clothes, paper to composites for construction; a significant freeing up of prison space for REAL criminals; buttloads of MONEY to be made (maybe this will get politicians attention) from taxing marijuana and selling licenses to stores (just like a liquor license) who sell it; biofuel production that won't cut into the corn-chip supply, and seeds that can be made into a non-intoxicating supply of food for starving people. Also would we have any trouble w... Geesh, I'm sorry TN DID SOMEONE SAY Spam? Let me enlighten you Debbie Spam It used to be a way of life, at least here in the South. Like collard greens, streak o lean, and "Lawdy shut my mouth." Somewhere it became a sin, it's leader now a sham. I might die tomorrow, but I'm still eat'n spam. Grandma used to serve it up baked n fried n battered. She'd let me heat the bacon grease, and shield me when it splattered. I'm proud to stand right up and say, "I have slurped the jam!" Hate me if you want too, but I love eat'n spam. Fancy folks with silver spoons who keep their pinky's raised. Will never know how apropos when charred and mayonnaised. So slice up some tomatr's, and fry it... BUT SEWIOUSLEE Legalizing pot in the way you folks speak of IS NOT the answer! 1) Letting the government lay hands on it will only cause more trouble. It will end up like the cigarette industry. They (the powers that be) will most definately start with the additives. 2) Like in Mich. where they just decriminalized it. This does NOTHING for anyone. Sure you get a ticket for possessing an ounce or less, but it doesn't do anything to keep the kids away from harder drugs. People assume pot leads to harder drugs but that's not true. What leads to harder drugs is the enviornment pot is sold in. 9 times out of 10 the pot dealers also sell harder drugs. It's this environment that leads to h... @Googlet: Just for that baby, I've become your latest follower |
