  I used to wonder how men would react if women started behaving more like 
  them: using violence and a gang mentality to solve their various disputes 
  and grievances. Well, now a group of women in India have started doing just 
  that.   They call themselves the Gulabi Gang, meaning the Pink Gang, so-named 
  because the women wear candy-pink saris. And pink is the colour of life in 
  India. They currently number several hundred strong. The group is based in 
  the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh and is made up of women and girls 
  from the Dalit class (the Untouchables). These women traditionally do the 
  dirtiest jobs in society: emptying dry toilets and cleaning blood and animal 
  waste from the slaughterhouses. They are known as Untouchables because other
