Take a peek at what a lack of science education can accomplish. The irony is that this guy thought he provided a brilliant speech. The irony is that this guy thought he provided a brilliant speech.Yes, I agree. And that is also the frightening element. That was deep. I didn't enjoy his argument, it was too stupid. But I did enjoy the article below it. But this man is a representative of the thought process of evolution when you DON'T know the science. So he could feasibly convince someone else who does not know the science. That's why scientists should teach science. So he could feasibly convince someone else who does not know the science. That's why scientists should teach science. The thing is, believers DONT WANT to really 1 nderstand the science. They want people to tell them that they are right and evolution is wrong. This is why these ridiculous arguments persist even after they have been completely and totally refuted over and over. I believe a prerequisite of teaching biology is an understanding of evolution. When I hear about science teachers that don't believe in evolution is just boggles my mind. It's like a mechanic that doesn't believe gasoline comes from the ground, or a pilot who disbelieves in how air flows over a wing. stupid is as stupid does. |
