What a gift! Many, many thanks. One of those pieces which spins off a thousand different directions of thought. Initially, re extended mind I would say that the first technology was the (cultural) manipulation of the (biological) larynx, tongue and the rest of the miracle chamber. I'd like to make an unrelated observation. I would imagine the brilliance of a small part of our population has to be somewhat lonely at times? Of course, I have no way to say that is an accurate observation, but it seems to me that may or may not hinder intimacy which is a fascinating subject to me.
