It's got this beat that could be in any old indie rock song, but instead of throwing some chugging guitars on top of it, they coat it with squiggling synths that never stop whizzing around. The intro is some serious Hawkwind shit, with drums and synths getting as blessed as possible before the song pulls itself together and acid trips into the stratosphere. The guitar hits every several measures, nailed a chord and letting it echo off into nowhere. I suppose it's good that they know how to leave some space, because there are nine guys in the band, and things could get crowded in a hurry. The vocals are harmonized, but they're singing at odd intervals about grabbing comets' tails and ascending astral planes.
